Stupid America
Hold on readers for a serious rant on this issue!! I just finished watching a segment on Fox News today in which the city of Bereley, CA wants to demand the Marine Recruiting office be forced out of the city. (http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,327347,00.html) What a crock of Sh@#!! The so-called peace protesters "Code Pink" that are against the war and think that the Marines don't tell the recruits the truth that come in to their office to sign up to DEFEND these assignine "Code Pink" pukes in their RIGHT to be total ASSHOLE. I am completely in awe at the new lowes this country will stoop to in the areas of protesting the war. So, I guess the Marines that gave thier lives for these pukes don't matter, what matters is that now the mayor of Berkeley has given a parking space to the "Code Pink" pukes right in front of the Marine Recruiting office to show thier disdaine for them being there. The "code pinks" say that 18 year olds can't make up their own minds on whether to enlist and they feel the Marines are lying to them just to join the military. Those of us in the military know that our recruiters lie to get us to join, but we all went down to the recruiter on our own free will. Since our country DOESN'T have adraft right now. DUH!! Oh I'm so pissed off right now I can barely type this. This is the lowest of the low.

I completely agree. I think its awful that the mayor is letting this happen. But then again, thats whay we fight, so she has the right to protest. I would just tell her....your welcome.
i wouldnt cry if berkley was wiped off the map. the way those assholes act is apalling.
This Middle East war is an unwinnable waste of a clusterfvck. But then again, fools didn't learn from Vietnam, ANOTHER stupid waste. Stupid America? You got that right. Here we are, running out of money, in debt to the Chinese,our own infrastructure falling apart yet want to go all over the world being the world policeman. When are you right-wing pro-war'ers gonna learn?--THE PEACE FOLKS AIN'T YOUR ENEMIES! Yeah-we could nuke the whole Muslim world if we wanted to--just send out a couple of Trident subs: but what good would it do? All you'd get is a real-life ON THE BEACH-scenario. Are you all up for a gov't issued "Reverend Jones" because the radiation is pervasive and there's no place to hide?
AND there IS a draft--it's an econmmic draft, not to mention stop-loss. Well, there's hope, I suppose--I once met an anti-war Vietnam Vet who told me< " I had to do 2 tours in order to come to my senses.
