Peaves and Rants

Is it really that difficult to write a person back that has taken the time to email you? Huh, huh? This is a question that I guess I will never find the answer to. I get so ticked when I take the time to send a personal email to someone and they for whatever reason don't feel the need to email me back. Sheesh!

Ok, enough with the stupid crap!! I have been reading a post by the Unlikely Soldier (http://theunlikelysoldier.blogspot.com/) and his most recent one has really hit home. His unit lost 3 guys over the past couple of days and Suspect is really taking it hard....rightfully so. I feel for the kid, I mean what does one say in a situation like this? On the one had you want to tell him it will be alright, but I know it won't, and the other hand you want to tell him that you know how he feels, but you don't and probably never will. So, do you just say nothing at all? That doesn't seem to be a very supportive route to go either. This whole war sucks!! I have read all of his posts and I have seen the Army and war take all of his youth and innocence away and he's only in his early 20's. No one should ever have to see or go through the things he has seen and gone through. All in the name of politics! I know war is not a new thing to this country or the world for that fact, but it never gets any easier to take. I just hope and pray that he will continue to talk about his feelings and let it out and not keep it all inside and one day explode with fits of anger and rage. That wouldn't be helping himself or the guys that have lost thier lives. Keep on keepin' on Suspect!
